SAN LUIS OBISPO, Calif. - June 27, 2023 - PRLog -- Intersect is tackling challenges in human well-being that apps and software alone cannot: accountability, motivation, and self-confidence. Intersect matches every client with a dedicated 1-on-1 coach tailored to their specific fitness and nutrition needs. Intersect's diverse coaching staff can guide individuals through nearly any situation, from making exercise a habit to eating healthier to feeling more confident.

Intersect, a technology start-up based in San Luis Obispo, CA, launched their direct-to-consumer training service less than one year ago in November 2022. Since then, Intersect has grown explosively from just 1 part-time trainer with a handful of clients to a dozen trainers and hundreds of clients across the country. During the last quarter, the company averaged an explosive 110% month-over-month growth rate.

While Intersect provides personalized workout programming and nutrition guidance, its unique value comes from the relationship that each client has with their coach and the emotional support and accountability that it provides. The Intersect service pairs clients with a remote 1-on-1 coach who develops personalized workout programs for each client. The clients are then guided through the workouts using the Intersect app. This provides the same training experience one would receive with an in-person trainer, but for a fraction of the cost. The price for the unlimited remote personal training is $129/month. That price is significantly less than the $800+ cost of a typical trainer. The only equipment necessary is a smartphone, allowing clients to workout anytime and anywhere while chatting with their coach daily. For extra motivation, clients can compete against friends for fitness points in the Intersect community as well.

Capitalizing on their staggering 330% growth over the past months, Intersect plans to use this new funding to grow headcount, expand marketing efforts, and add new functionality to their product, and in-depth nutrition tracking and support.

CEO and co-founder, Logan Jennings, has a deep love for fitness and a history of entrepreneurship that goes back to his early high school days, Logan is joined by co-founder Jacob Hubert, a college best friend and fitness fanatic himself. Both founders are excited to announce the fundraise and growth of Intersect, as it will allow them to help even more individuals improve their health and well-being.
