Routeique, Amii, Big Rock Brewery Launch AI-Enabled Warehouse Digital Twin With Support From Scal
This solution will bring insights and data closer to the people who need to use it and provide them with the critical insights they need to grow their businesses.
"What's at the core of it is two things: make what you have work really well, and be able to plan for the future," says Brent Bawel, VP Product at Routeique, "[The AI-Enabled Warehouse Digital Twin] will help warehouses run smoothly but also allow them to grow and see how growth is able to impact those operations. The engine underneath that is the AI/ML, and the digital twin is a way to share and contextualize that information."
This project has a total value of 3.5 million, including funding support from Scale AI, Canada's AI Incubator. It will be created in partnership with the Alberta Machine Intelligence Institute (Amii). The completed project will then be adopted by Big Rock Brewery, one of Canada's largest craft breweries.
"Routeique is incredibly excited to embark on this exciting project with our partners at Amii and Scale AI. The Routeique platform has always been at the forefront of supply chain technology and our team is constantly reinvesting in the future in order to keep up with this ever changing industry. We see AI and machine learning as the vehicle to help us help our enterprise clients make better, more automated decisions at scale and this project will help us accelerate three years of cutting-edge R&D into a single year," says Mike Allan, CEO and Co-Founder of Routeique.
The project will be finalized in late 2023. "We're excited to work with Routeique and Scale AI to leverage AI/ML to optimize our production planning and warehouse operations further," says Sam Galick, Vice President of Operations at Big Rock Brewery. "This project will unlock powerful insights that will help us streamline our warehouse processes which will ultimately help us deliver products as efficiently as possible."
"Amii is excited to work on this project with Routeique to build their AI capacity and provide tangible solutions that address the current challenges related to the global supply chain, says Cam Linke, CEO of Amii. "Through this project, we look forward to bringing our expertise to strengthen Routeique's existing AI/machine learning infrastructure and begin to build an archetype for future warehouses that will further propel Routeique and their clients as industry leaders."
