Relic: The Element and Cryptic Tales Audiobook Exclusive Now Available on Audible

SALEM, Mass. - April 3, 2023 - PRLog -- Relic: The Element and Cryptic Tales is an audiobook collection of four stories narrated by Michael Finney and made available exclusively on Audible. It includes audioplay productions with sound effects and music as well as a voice-only reading of the each story.

"Relic: The Element" is Finney's first published fictional short story and collected with three additional tales narrated by the author from renowned writers that made landmark contributions to the pulp canon. The Cryptic Tales are "The Challenge from Beyond" by Frank Belknap Long (Excerpt), "The Cask of Amontillado" by Edgar Allen Poe, and "The Alchemist" by H. P. Lovecraft.

"This project materialized as a way to explore fictional writing, both my own and a few other writers I've enjoyed. It is new territory for me as my previous publications were nonfiction and primarily journalistic", said Finney. "Also, it's the first piece of fiction I've completed and wanted to make it available in an interesting way. Using my voice to do that in a collection with other stories I liked seemed like a cool way to do that."
