The Anatomy of A Tree in Detail

TORONTO - March 3, 2023 - PRLog -- All trees have roughly the same anatomy, with slight differences between them. All trees hve roots, a trunk, branches, and leaves. We are going to go over the anatomy in more detail.

The Roots

We are going to go from the bottom up. In the top 3 feet of soil, you will be able to find the roots. They can go deeper, depending on the type of tree and can reach far away from the tree. Most definitely reaching beyond the outside of the leaf radius, also known as the drip line. The roots can grow to 2-4x beyond this point in search of water below the surface. Roots are vital to the very survival of a tree. Without them, it wouldn't be able to absorb nutrients from the soil or collect water. Not to mention it secures the tree in the ground, while also storing food for the winter.
