STOCKHOLM - Dec. 14, 2022 - PRLog -- Timber Exchange recently launched a Market Data Hub for timber exporters, importers, and freight forwarders around the world.

The data hub contains several graphical representations based on global wood markets, timber wood price, production data, inventory, logistics, consumption, and exporter's/importer's demands of wood globally.

The market data hub contains five major categories. Under each category, you get lumber price graphs, information, data, & news.

The first category is news, where you get the latest news regarding the global forestry trade network.

The second is market data which is subdivided into several sections. Under the 'summary' tab, the 'global' subsection shows graphical data of timber trading, demands and competitions across the globe. The 'top movers' tab will show you the top traders based on different countries, demands of timber, and stock.

Region & country are two tabs that provide country and region-based graphical representations of timber trading like lumber prices in Europe and the US lumber price index, among others.

The production tab lists graphical data of the production volume of wood divided country-wise on a monthly, quarterly and yearly basis.

In the inventory tab, you will get monthly, quarterly and yearly data on the timber stock of countries. The consumption tab shows the exporter timber consumption data in the form of housing starts/construction in different countries.

All stakeholders can access yearly data of timber export/import volume/value compared to the partner country's export/import volume/value in this section. The global price tab presents timber price graphs regarding the overall export/import based on country-specific incoterms.

Under the forest sector, you'll get the latest data regarding timber log export/import volume/value & price based on destinations.

You also get the option of saving any graphical representation that you visit frequently by clicking on the heart shape favourite button placed on the right-hand corner of all graphs.
