Mr. Eikoh Tanaka, the Artist and creator of 6ishiki says:
"My works visualize invisible relationships or stories between humans and the environment.
I find singularities and represent them as artworks by combining various media such as video, photography and sculpture. I've been working on representing the common feature between quantum theory and the view of the universe from Zen and other religions".

ABOUT 6ishiki
(MU ISHIKI+6 senses) is the Artist's traditional family house, built over a hundred years ago. Now a hidden Art Hotel, an oasis for the soul, with a sauna to meditate, a private chef for an original Sa-kaiseki dinner, it is a new small luxury haven to escape the crowds. "Five senses + Deep self consciousness = 6 consciousness. Through art and sauna, we wish to provide an experience that cultivates self-awareness in the state of mindfulness".
