The Plasmics INo Trident is the worlds first commercially available induction heated nozzle for your 3D Printer!

TL;DR for all impatient readers: They are offering the worlds first induction powered nozzle for 3D printing! It is compatible with all printers running Klipper on a Raspberry PI and providing 24V of power.  Malin and Duet support via SPI will be available after launch!

It heats up and cools down faster than any comparable nozzle at a price-point the same as a complete hotend of comparable quality.

The problem with heating is a bit more complicated than just getting a piece of metal to be hot. It's also about how to accurately measure heat so you don't overshoot and how to cool it down if the element ends up being hotter than the target temperature.

Mass takes energy to heat and mass stores energy previously put into it - logically the first step in optimisation would be to reduce the heating elements' mass.
