Electives Leader To Offer Insights & Reflection At Event Celebrating 50 Years Of Coeducation At Dartmouth

BOSTON - Oct. 18, 2022 - PRLog -- Electives, a Boston-based company making great learning accessible by bringing the world's experts - both the known and the unknown - into people's lives, announced participation at an event celebrating 50 years of coeducation for Dartmouth College. Natalie Cantave, Electives associate director of marketing, will deliver a speech and participate in an alumnae panel discussion at an exclusive, invite-only Women of Dartmouth – Boston event.

"It's exciting to have an opportunity to celebrate such an important milestone in Dartmouth's history," commented Cantave. "At the same time, I can't help thinking that 1972 really wasn't that long ago. I believe we always need to reflect on the past and present, so we know how to move toward a better future. I'm looking forward to sharing my story about my time as a Dartmouth student and how it's shaped me into the woman I am today."

Cantave joined the Electives team in late 2021 and is committed to the Electives mission of making great learning more accessible. Cantave is passionate about diversity, equity and inclusion and hopes to empower underrepresented talent to pursue careers in whatever fields they desire, especially within tech. Cantave earned her B.A in psychology and a global health certificate from Dartmouth College.

Alongside Cantave, panelists Liz Lempres (class of 1983) and Caroline Shaunessy (2019) will share their experiences and stories from their time at Dartmouth College, their hopes for women of Dartmouth in the future, and perspectives on how to exude authenticity as leaders. Hannah Perham (2009), co-chair of Women of Dartmouth – Boston, is moderating the panel.

The event will include a donation drive to support Rosie's Place, a women's shelter located in Boston. Rosie's Place, founded in 1974, was the first shelter for women in the country and continues to serve women through many avenues without government funding.
