Marc Maynon is a California based Singer/Songwriter who released his debut EP Download Jesus back in 2013. Originally hailing from the San Francisco Bay Area, Marc slaved away as a street busker and farmers' market performer for years before relocating to the Sacramento suburbs. 2 LPs and ten years later he's hard at work bringing his visions to life through cinematic, thought provoking music videos that he produces and directs himself. "Nowhere to Be" is his latest effort.

Shot in the beautiful rolling hills of El Dorado County, "Nowhere to Be" asks the question: "What forgotten frontier exists within an arm's length; the distance from your hand to your phone? Can you let go of your smartphone and for how long?" Watch Marc as he prances through pastures, rides his bike through verdant hills and sings to the trees; the very image of  abandon! However, what waits on the other side of a smartphone-free existence? Without our smartphones are we blindsided, bowled over, distressed? Perhaps it's too late for us and that precious arm's length of freedom hides an invisible chain and the truth that we are all prisoners.
