Statehood Playing Cards are a uniquely American and educational deck of playing cards, promoting national unity and celebrating America

Statehood Playing Cards are more than a standard poker deck.  With these cards you can play your favorite contemporary games, teach students about the U.S. States, Territories, and the electoral process, or check out our original card games, Whitehouse and Statehood (https://statehood.cards/page/how-to-play-statehood).  Herb created this deck with a mission to educate, advocate, and donate.

How did Herb come up with this idea?

Soon after the January 6th riots, Herb got COVID and ended up in ICU, literally wanting to avoid going on a ventilator. He was wondering whether he would live or die. At the time, the average life span of a person with COVID was 18 days. As he was counting the days one by one, he had an epiphany about how short life is and how unpredictable it could be. One day here, gone the next.  He thought, being an arm-chair patriot just wasn't good enough during these tumultuous times --- hecame up with Statehood Playing Cards as a way of doing his part in the battle for the soul of America. For him, that translated into encouraging people to embrace their better angels with a little more love and tolerance --- bringing people together.
