Renowned Actress Rituparna Sengupta Felicitated in New York for Her Accomplishments

NEW YORK - July 21, 2022 - PRLog -- Rituparna Sengupta, the celebrated Bengali actress was felicitated by the prominent members of the Indian-American community leaders and elected officials at Dr. Reena Nandi and Dr. Dipak Nandi's residence in New York.

The eminent actress Rituparna was presented with a proclamation by New York Assemblywoman Jenifer Rajkumar in the presence of Democrat Congressman Tom Suozzi, D-NY and numerous other eminent personalities like filmmakers Mukesh Modi, Tirlok Malik and others for her outstanding accomplishments.

Leaders from various community organizations representing different regions of India such as Bengal, Punjab, Gujarat, Andhra Pradesh etc., as well as organizations such as the Federation of Indian Associations and the American Association of Physicians of Indian Origin, and Dr.Sudhir Parikh, chairman of Parikh Worldwide Media and ITV Gold, in fact, was seen spending a great time in the event meet.

A cultural event celebrating the rich art and culture and an evening filled with live music and melody of sitar and sarod, Mrs. Sengupta was seen thanking everyone profusely for the felicitation and also for such an eventful evening stating - she will never forget such beautiful event and she and her husband Sanjay Chakrabarty, an IT businessman will cherish it forever.

Padma Shri recipient Dr. Parikh praised the accomplishments of Sengupta and said she had greater successes to look forward to in her future.

In his brief talk at the event, Dr. Dipak Nandi thanked Jenifer Rajkumar and Suozzi for attending and described Jenifer Rajkumar, the only Indian-American woman ever to be elected to the New York State Legislature, as a "rising star" of the community. Whereas Jenifer Rajkumar was very happy stating she was proud to see how well members of her community have done and praised Sengupta for her accomplishments.
