NEW YORK - Sept. 13, 2022 - PRLog -- "Exploring Our National Parks Volume 2" takes readers through eight parks around the United States through the lens and thoughts of author and documentarian Michael Finney.

This project started years ago when the author began traveling the country and visiting these locations while working or taking time off. After sharing images online over the years and writing about the experiences in blogs, Michael decided to gather up the entries and attempt to craft a larger narrative from them.

"I caught a bug that attracted me to national parks a few year back. All of a sudden I had written thousands of words and was looking for what else I could do with the content," remarked author, Michael Finney. "As I was preparing that first book it became clear I had more material than would fit into a single release."

As the series has expanded into a second volume, it has also grown into video and audio with collections of both released after the first book.

"The 'Exploring Our National Parks' project is really versatile, letting me explore creativity in a number of outlets. Putting out a self-produced book, audiobook, and video series every two years seems pretty daunting until you do it a couple times. Now I have visited over 20 parks and plan at least four volumes," Finney said.
