Rockstar Peter DiStefano (Porno for Pyros) searches his home of Los Angeles, California to find Modern American Artists to collaborate and create new works of art. Peter displays his love for helping others to expose other artists in various mediums. Peter has extraordinary experiences with painter and veteran Michael Gorman and child prodigy Alice Asmar, discussing the trials and tribulations of being Modern American Artists.

Modern American Artists was the winner of the Best Documentary Film award at the Hollywood Reel Independent Film Festival as well as winning the "Focus on Art" award at the Orlando Film Festival.
