Paul Davis South Western Nova Scotia supports Annapolis Valley Apple Blossom Festival's parade

KENTVILLE, Nova Scotia - June 20, 2022 - PRLog -- Nigel Blair, President and owner of Paul Davis South Western Nova Scotia is pleased to announce his overall sponsorship of the recent, renowned Annapolis Valley Apple Blossom Festival's Grand Street Parade in Kentville, NS. The event on May 28 attracted 10,000 to 15,000 local and visitor spectators to the springtime celebration of traditions and agricultural heritage. Blair's staff team helped to lead the parade in their customized and hand created 40-foot, parade float that led the parade and followed a springtime blooming season theme.

The float featured a steel-constructed apple tree, fresh flowers, 2,000 balloons and decorations, platforms for company participants, cheerleaders, picnickers, and a pedestal for the parade queen, traditionally named Annapolisa who greeted onlookers, among others. Paul Davis shared candy and giveaways with parade viewers along with information about the residential and commercial restoration and construction company which is located at 46 Taxiway Court in Cambridge, NS.

According to Blair, the monetary support as title sponsor of the event with $5,000 and the cost of the float at $12,000 honored the long time, local festival and parade which opens Nova Scotia's tourist season at the end of May with national and international recognition. From its creation in 1933 as a tribute to the blossoms of the many apple orchards and agricultural heritage of the Annapolis Valley, the Festival has grown to be a yearly homecoming for families and friends with many free events at the peak time of the area's blooming apple orchards. Blair also thanks Sylvie Levesque, owner at Paul Davis Northwest New Brunswick, for her assistance and participation in parade activities.
