Follow on Google News | The 15th Annual St Helier Music & Community Festival in Sutton,SurreyBy: Rocoja This year's St Helier Music and Community Festival (SHMACF) has over 80 community & charity stalls, a huge live music stage, a tea marquee for local sheltered housing residents to enjoy, games & displays from local dance, cheerleading & gymnastics groups along with a fun Mascot race just after 4pm. There is also an amazing Food-Zone, full of tempting delights from around the world. Susan Peters, chair of the SHMACF committee, said: "This festival has always been a community event & we are incredibly proud of everyone involved in bringing this to the area again this year, especially the local businesses who have really enabled us to create a larger, more exciting event for all the community to enjoy in its 15th year." The St Helier Music and Community Festival gives local charities & community groups - ranging in size from a couple volunteers to larger operations – a unique opportunity to promote their causes to their community. It also allows local residents to enjoy a stress-free day out, as there is no entry fee to attend & the entertainment throughout the day is free (displays, music, dancing, etc). Attendees will find activities not only suitable for families but also surprises such as celebrity guests & lookalikes, information stands, career stands & much more, so it's truly a day for everyone. Karin Flower, http://CelebFC.co.uk founder, said: "I am delighted to be assisting again with the organising of the SHMACF, as for Celeb FC, small UK charities & community groups are closest to our heart. This is truly an inclusive event, with something for everyone & something I am very proud to be involved with". The http://SHMACF.co.uk will be held on the St Helier Open Space, next to the David Weir Leisure Centre in Middleton Road (SM5 1SL), from Midday to 6pm on June 25th. End
