"STAY" is a six-episode boys love web series that centers on the romantic journey of two young Asians who unexpectedly meet in Los Angeles.

This project is very personal for us as we want to share our own experiences as Asian immigrants in Los Angeles. Moving to a city as big and as expensive as LA was risky and frightening. We were filmmakers and screenwriters in the Philippines and we wanted to try it out in Hollywood.

But we realized that it wasn't that easy. There were a lot of challenges, hardships and barriers. We needed to adapt with the culture, language, environment and many others. The daily cost of living is too high. And there weren't a lot of creative opportunities for people of color like us. But we don't want to give up on our dreams. We want to tell an Asian immigrant story as authentic as possible.

We want to believe that through this project, we would be able to share something new and fresh to the audience. That we would be able to tell a unique, interesting and entertaining story from the perspective of gay immigrants.

After almost a year of developing the story, fleshing out the characters, and writing the scripts for our six-episode boys love series, we are now ready to start filming! We fell in love with our story and characters and we strongly believe that you will too!

All proceeds from this crowdfunding campaign will cover the production expenses during filming such as fees for the cast and crew, location rentals, equipment rentals, wardrobe, props, food, transportation, hard drives, among others. We will also spend a significant amount of our budget for the post production to pay for the editing, musical scoring, sound design, effects, graphics, color grading and correction
