HONOLULU - March 23, 2022 - PRLog -- While we plan to hold 2022 Ukulele Picnic in Hawaii in September, we
are happy to announce that 11th International Ukulele Contest will be held online again.
During this long-lasting pandemic, a lot of people are experiencing some sort of stress,
and it could be possible that children are feeling that stress more than adults are.
Therefore, it is our wish to let ukulele heal your souls, as well as give you new
opportunities in life.

Applications for this contest will be accepted starting at 5:00PM on March 5, 2022 in
Hawaii time. Winners will be announced online from 6:00PM to 8:00PM on May 28,
2022 in Hawaii time. For details on how to apply, the content of the awards, benefits,
etc., please go to our website.

Message from the Founder

"To our keiki: I believe you can create your own dreams and goals, by participating in a
contest like this. You also get a chance to work hard, trying your best to achieve what
you want. I understand that it's hard to be evaluated or judged by others sometimes. It
requires a lot of courage in yourself. But, I really think such courage is what we all need
to start something new. It will open up opportunities, which will lead to a positive view of
life. Please use this contest entry period as meaningful time.

To our adult participants: This is your chance to share your ukulele talent all over the
world, by rediscovering the ukulele's wonderful and fun nature with many other ukulele
enthusiasts.
