Local CEO Increases Certifications

RALEIGH, N.C. - March 16, 2022 - PRLog -- Michelle Keaton-Barrow, CEO of Keaton Barrow Realty, recently earned two certificates from Cornell University. She received a Certificate in Women's Entrepreneurship from The Bank of America Institute for Women's Entrepreneurship at Cornell University and a Diversity and Inclusion Certificate from Cornell ILR School.

The Institute for Women's Entrepreneurship is a collaboration between Bank of America and Cornell University to deliver an online learning portal that provides women entrepreneurs with the skills, knowledge and resources necessary to build, manage, and scale a successful business.

The Diversity and Inclusion Certificate stems from the premise that an organization is only as good as its culture—and building that culture is every manager's and employee's responsibility. Starting with a look at employee engagement, then identifying interventions surrounding unconscious bias and specific diversity and inclusion strategies, this program is designed to take leaders beyond mere compliance to build a truly aware and inclusive work culture.
