Follow on Google News | Better Together, Bronson First Baptist Church to host March 24 community job and resource fairBy: Better Together The church-based job fair not only connects job seekers with local employers who are ready to hire, but also provides resources to facilitate stronger connections and more hires. Free one-on-one job coaching sessions are also available to job seekers to review resumes and interviewing skills, as well as resources and services including clothing and haircuts. Employers include Lancaster Correctional Institution, the School Board of Levy County, Bealls Outlet, the Town of Bronson, Drummond Community Bank, Shore Builders Inc., the Levy County Board of County Commissioners, Levy County Sheriff's Office, UF IFAS Extension of Levy County, Monterey and Blackfin Boats, and Top Shelf Interior Solutions. The community job fair is part of Better Together's "Better Jobs" program, which has helped 34,000 applicants connect with employment opportunities across 21 states. At job fairs hosted by Better Together, two-thirds of attendees get a job interview, and nearly half receive a job offer on the spot. "In a time when jobs are more critical than ever, the community is stepping up to create opportunities and restore hope for those in need of employment," The March 24 job fair will take place at Bronson First Baptist Church, located at 460 S. Court St. in Bronson.
