Upon his graduation, Wasiyo attended combines and tryouts where he was able to shine for the scouts and coaches. His size and agility made him a standout for the Mustangs. Wyoming has gained a stellar tackle with Anthony who will work hard to bring home a championship for the Mustangs. "I just want to thank Coach Coleman and my agent Brandy for setting up this opportunity for me," said Wasiyo. "This roster and coaching staff is filled with championship caliber talent and I'm excited to bring my leadership and skill-set to this team." The Wyoming Mustangs is a professional indoor football team in the Champions Indoor Football League (CIF). The CIF introduced the Mustangs as an expansion team for the 2021 season. The Mustangs played their inaugural season in 2021 at CAM-PLEX Wyoming Center in Gillete, Wyoming. Unfortunately, they did not proceed to post season play in their first season in the CIF. Wyoming announced that they will be led by a new head coach, Michael Coleman, for the 2022 season. Coach Coleman is hopeful to bring home a CIF Championship to Wyoming this season. In 2021, Champions Indoor Football had active teams in Salina, Wichita and Dodge City, Kansas; Omaha, Nebraska; Sioux City, Iowa; and Gillette. Omaha won the league title 40-39 on July 17 over Salina, which was guided by former Outlaws coach Heron O'Neal. Two teams from Texas and one from Oklahoma were inactive; another expansion team from Denver figures to give the league 10 active teams for 2022.
