Southern Ocean Chamber Wedding Road Show earns Industry Recognition

SHIP BOTTOM, N.J. - Feb. 15, 2022 - PRLog -- The Southern Ocean County Chamber of Commerce has spent over a decade dedicated to raising awareness and nurturing a generation of brides to be, decision makers and party planners to consider the Long Beach Island Region of NJ for their pre, post and milestone events. The regional chamber which serves as the area's Destination Marketing Organization  began outreach to local businesses and stakeholders to grow an expanding industry. Encouraging businesses of all sizes to offer services and products customized to the wedding parties. The success has led to the chamber's event being recognized and considered to be on the best companies in the industry by NJ Bride with a Love It 2022 designation. This event has also won the NJ Governor's Excellence in Tourism Award in 2014.

The Wedding Road Show began a self guided tour that included stops to businesses modeled after Bridal Fairs held in the UK. The April 24 tour  promises the best way to plan for weddings, milestone events, on and off-site gatherings of all kinds. The complimentary event is a self-guided tour through venue showcases filled with local talent to provide all your pre, post and event needs. In addition to meeting one on one with owners and management of venues and professional services, decision making party planners can bring their entourage to enjoy samples, fun activities and a chance to win dozens of prizes from the vendors at their displays.
