Follow on Google News | PPGJLI Announces Writing Contest to Launch on Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. DayBy: Planting People Growing Justice "We couldn't be more excited to be partnering with the Minnesota Twins for our first writing competition of 2022," said Dr. Artika Tyner, founder of PPGJLI. The competition will officially launch on Jan. 17, 2022, and is open to youth in grades K-5. Entries can be in the form of prose, poetry, fiction, or creative non-fiction. Submissions are due by March 1, 2022, and can be submitted online at ppgjli.org/MLK- PPGJLI seeks to plant the seeds of social change through education, training, and community outreach. The non-profit organization is committed to helping students discover their leadership potential to become the leaders and agents of change for the future. "Every day is an opportunity to be a servant and empower others to lead," said Tyner. In the immortal words of the Rev. Martin Luther King, Jr., "If you want to be important – wonderful.
