New Use Energy Partners With Bata To Provide Power Source For Cordless Pitching Machine
By: New Use Energy
The Cordless BATA B1-Curve can deliver nearly 3,000 pitches on a full charge and eliminates the need for dangerous tangled extension cords or noisy gasoline generators. The B1-Curve's power source, the PowerPac, offers unrivaled power and energy storage from a premium Tier 1 CATL LiFePO4 battery protected by a tough weather-resistant case.
The battery can be charged from zero to full in only four hours from the grid. The product can also be charged by solar panels for an off-grid solution.
Bata CEO Brian Davidson said that "We [at Bata] are excited to be working with New Use Energy for our new cordless pitching machines. It was important to us to find a supplier who understood the demands of a commercial product. As a premium manufacturer we needed a premium partner to handle the power requirements. We found that partner in New Use Energy."
"We're excited to work with BATA on the first of many solutions," said NUE CEO Paul Shmotolokha. "This fits our corporate mission of eliminating portable gas generator usage and complies with the latest trends in states like California where portable generators are being legislated out."
BATA also offers a NUE PowerPac option to convert existing corded pitching machines into a cordless solution.
