PRLog -- New Technology Walkers has announced today that
the free demo of its fitness game "HitMotion: Reloaded" published on App Lab is now considered as completed. With the new "Seal The Demo" update published today, the agency has added some final innovative features to the game, and
will focus from now only on the full version of the game, to be released in the future.
HitMotion: Reloaded has been one of the launch titles of the HTC Vive Focus Plus, developed with the support of HTC China in 2019. In 2021 it has been published for Oculus Quest, landing on App Lab, where it had a good reception from the community.
With the last "Seal The Demo" update, HitMotion implements the following upgrades:
- Passthrough AR: the user can now change on the fly between AR and VR. VR provides an immersive experience in a special street landscape; while AR, implemented with Oculus Passthrough APIs, instead lets the player see his/her surroundings, so that he/she can play in full safety without risking punching people and objects around him/her;
- AR area setting: it is now possible to define the play area while seeing the physical room, so the player can better position the virtual ring in a place where it is safer to play by clearly seeing its boundaries;
- New levels: there have been added 3 new levels to the previous 5: one is a medium-difficulty level, and two are hard ones. There is now a total of 10 levels: 8 workout ones and two ones that compose the game tutorial. In addition to this, also the previous 5 levels have been refined and polished;
- Custom music: finally the user can customize the soundtracks of each level by using his/her own custom music files. Using .mp3 or .ogg files the player can choose the music that puts him/her into the flow!
- Custom training: the modifiers for the levels have been improved, and now the user can better choose a force and time multiplier to make the training more intense. This also improves the replayability of the game.
This new update marks the end of the development of the free demo on App Lab, which from now on will only be maintained with bug fixes or minor improvements.
The team at New Technology Walkers will now focus on the development of the full version of the game, which should provide more features and be available for more platforms. More information about this full version will be shared in 2022.
