Del Mar Naples now open on Fifth Avenue South

FORT MYERS, Fla. - Dec. 21, 2021 - PRLog -- Del Mar Naples, featuring Mediterranean-inspired coastal cuisine, is now open. Located on vibrant Fifth Avenue South in the former Café Lurcat location at 494 Fifth Ave. S. in Naples, Del Mar Naples is a new concept from Cameron Mitchell Restaurants, which also owns and operates the award-winning Ocean Prime Naples.

"We're thrilled to introduce Del Mar Naples to Fifth Avenue and Southwest Florida," said Del Mar Naples' General Manager Rick Giannasi, who most recently served as general manager at Ocean Prime Naples since its opening in December 2016. "We've had a great following at Ocean Prime Naples. We understand what guests appreciate and we will bring that same genuine hospitality that Naples residents and guests have come to enjoy to Del Mar Naples."

The 9,200-square-foot restaurant features two floors of dining, including patio and balcony seating and two bars. Additionally, the restaurant offers private dining in the Capri Room for up to 24 guests.

"Our made-from-scratch menu rotates seasonally and showcases a variety of seafood accompanied by bright produce, fresh cheeses, rich olive oil, earthy spice blends and homemade pita," said David Vilchez, executive chef of Del Mar Naples. "Our culinary team is incorporating flavors from Greece, Southern Spain, Morocco, France, Italy and Turkey. Additionally, Del Mar Naples offers a 'from the hearth' selection, created in a wood-fired grill. This includes a show-stopping Lamb Tagine, made for family-style sharing."

Del Mar Naples also offers a handcrafted cocktail menu showcasing fresh, bright, palate-cleansing libations that complement the food nicely in terms of flavor. Refreshing cocktails are joined by a robust wine list featuring world-class wines from around the globe.
