Celsys to hold its 30th International Illustration Contest

SHINJUKU-KU, Japan - Dec. 20, 2021 - PRLog -- Contestants can submit their works just by posting their entry to Twitter, Instagram, or Facebook with the hashtag #cspcontest30. Contestants are also invited to submit timelapse videos recording their creative process for a chance at winning a Timelapse Award. The submission deadline is 23:59 GMT on Monday, January 10, 2022 and the Grand Prize winner will be awarded US$2,000.

Celsys regularly holds illustration contests open worldwide. Illustrations from all across the world are submitted to the contest, with the last contest, held under a Fashion Icon theme, receiving many unique entries. Contestants are able to submit timelapse videos along with their artwork, so that other contestants can enjoy seeing not only the completed artwork, but the steps that went into making it.

Illustrator Ilya Kuvshinov, who provided the contest's main illustration, sent the following message out to all the contestants.

"Sometimes, even if you draw and draw and draw, because you focus too much on your own work, there are often times where you don't notice yourself improving. Don't give up hope - keep drawing the things you like post them to your friends on social media and maybe you'll discover something new about yourself. I'm looking forward to seeing everyone's entries and having fun with this contest!"

The contest aims to support creators around the world and encourage more artists to create illustrations. Contest winners will receive prize money and other prizes and have their work shown to a wider audience through media such as Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter.

How to Enter
Contestants must post their entries on Twitter, Facebook, or Instagram with the #cspcontest30 hashtag within the submission period. To enter the running for the Timelapse Award, contestants must use both the #cspcontest30 and #cspcontest30_timelapse when they post their timelapse video entries.
