Biodegradable Sneeze Guard Launched

WEST BROMWICH, U.K. - Dec. 16, 2021 - PRLog -- Leading acrylic fabricator Wrights Plastics has launched a biodegradable version of their standard sneeze screens. Made from 6mm clear biodegradable GPPS, the freestanding screen can be used on desks, cash desks and counters to provide an effective barrier against the spread of Covid19, including the recently discovered Omicron variant.

Biodegradable* General purpose polystyrene (GPPS) plastic products are extremely rigid, relatively low cost and naturally very clear. GPPS is particularly noted for its ease of manufacturing and clarity.

A spokesperson for Wrights Plastics added "As GPPS is less expensive than other acrylics, this sneeze guard is not just biodegradable but budget too! In fact the screen is around 30% cheaper than our standard sneeze screen

"We take our environmental responsibility seriously. The majority of our product can range can be fully recycled at the end of their product lifecycle. This biodegradable version offers an alternative but still environmentally-aware option.
