David Weekley Homes' Lesa Ness Named Marketing Director of the Year

Atlanta Division for Award-Winning National Homebuilder Takes Home 11 Honors During 2021 Obie Awards

ATLANTA - Nov. 3, 2021 - PRLog -- As the first builder in the United States to be awarded the Triple Crown of American Home Building, an honor which includes "America's Best Builder," "National Housing Quality Award" and "National Builder of the Year," David Weekley Homes is no stranger to awards and accolades. The same holds true for the national builder's Atlanta division. On October 23, it took home eleven honors from the 2021 Atlanta OBIE Awards. Presented by the Sales and Marketing Council for the Greater Atlanta Home Builders Association, the OBIE Awards are designed to recognize outstanding achievement in the home building industry. Included among this year's big wins was Marketing Director of the Year for David Weekley Homes's Lesa Ness.

At the helm of the Atlanta Division's Marketing Department since 2019, Ness often leans into her digital marketing expertise – which no doubt caught the eye of OBIE judges. She averaged a more than 80% increase in web traffic and 65% increase in organic web search between 2020 and 2021. During COVID-19, she quickly pivoted to create and promote virtual tours of model homes, Quick Move-In homes and her division's Design Center through integrated email and social media campaigns. She led the launch of three new communities since November 2020, each setting sales records within months. She also innovated the COVID-friendly debut of two communities with "Drive-In"-themed events to give VIP buyers a sense of community and product without leaving the safety of their cars – a campaign that won a Gold OBIE.

Combining her own talents with those of the sales and marketing departments, Ness has created countless campaigns – resulting in $80,000,000 in revenue between June 2020 and June 2021. Never one to rest on her laurels, she recently joined GAHBA's 55+ council and encourages her Team Members to participate in GAHBA events. She was also newly nominated for chairmanship of her company's charitable arm, The CARE Team.
