getAbstract International Book Award 2021 Shortlist Annoucement

Readers' Choice Award Voting Opens Soon for Shortlist Nominees
 
AVENTURA, Fla. - Oct. 13, 2021 - PRLog -- getAbstract announces the finalists of the getAbstract International Book Award 2021. This year, the Award will be presented online through a series of interviews and digital events and includes a total prize of EUR 20,000.00.

The Award has been presented annually since 2001 to books focusing on current business-related topics. The jury consists of Arnhild Walz-Rasilier, Belén Haefely and Koni Gebistorf from getAbstract and Peter Lau from brand eins.

The shortlist for the getAbstract International Book Award 2021:
  • Corporate Crime and Punishment, John C. Coffee, Jr, Berrett-Koehler.  
  • Lead. Care. Win., Dan Pontefract, Figure 1 Publishing  
  • Noise, Daniel Kahneman, Olivier Sibony, and Cass R. Sunstein, Little, Brown Spark
  • Return on Ambition, Nicolai Tilisch and Nicolai Chen Nielsen, Fast Company Press  
  • The Burnout Fix, Jacinta M. Jiménez, McGraw-Hill

From the shortlist, the jury will select the winning titles. The shortlist is the result of a cooperation between getAbstract and brand eins.

From October 15, readers can participate in the Readers' Choice Award and select their favorite title from among this year's nominees. Further information on the getAbstract International Book Award Readers' Choice Award will follow shortly.

About the getAbstract International Book Award

Awarded since 2001, the getAbstract International Book Award is among the oldest continuously presented non-fiction book awards in the world. Previous winners include Abhijit V. Banerjee and Esther Duflo, Robert J. Shiller, George A. Akerlof, Benoît Mandelbrot and Rosabeth Moss Kanter. Each year, getAbstract reviews more than 10,000 English- and German-language non-fiction books. Under the motto "Progress through knowledge", the jury selects the books that make the most important contributions to current professional and business-relevant topics.
