The Annual Grouse & Lobster Dinner is back at Tyddyn Llan!

BASINGSTOKE, U.K. - Sept. 17, 2021 - PRLog -- On Sunday 3 October, Bryan & Susan Webb, the owners of Tyddyn Llan Restaurant with Rooms in the village of Llandrillo, in north Wales, will once again be hosting the popular Lobster & Grouse Wine Dinner, with wine consultant Igor Andronov, who has selected some amazing French wines to accompany the dishes.

The menu will comprise:

Canapés

Deep fried stuffed courgette flower with tomato and basil sauce (accompanied by Bandol 'Mas de la Rouviere Blanc 2014)

Pembroke lobster grilled with coriander, lime and ginger butter (with Chateauneuf-du-Pape Blanc 2020.

Roast grouse with game chips, hispi cabbage and bread sauce (with Saint-Chinian 'Cuvee Magali' 2013)

***

Selection of British farmhouse cheese from Neal's Yard Dairy (with Saint Nicolas de Bourgueil 'l'Expression' 2016)

Damson soup with poached blackberries and cinnamon ice cream

For those who wish to stay the night following the wine dinner, rooms are available from £115 per person (two sharing a room), including a wide choice of cooked breakfasts.

The wine dinner costs £160 (total of £275 per person for dinner and overnight stay).
