MALVERN, Pa. - Sept. 5, 2021 - PRLog -- Pop culture expert and novelist Garry Berman is excited to announce the publication of his newest sitcom - Captain Oblivious Retires. This six episode original sitcom is now available in paperback at Amazon.com. Garry Berman is also in talks with artist Thom Donovan about the possible creation of a comic book series based on the book/script.

"What happens when a superhero retires? In this original six-episode sitcom, the former Captain Oblivious, aka Allan Lutz, joins his fellow superhero retirees at Sunrise Villas, a community for those of special powers who have traded their action-filled lives for a cushy pension and afternoons on the golf course....until a knock at the door one morning announces the arrival of Christine McMillan, a gorgeous, cheerful 18-year-old who, with her own set of extraordinary skills, has been chosen by the Council to begin training as one of a new generation of superheroes. Much to his dismay, Allan has been assigned to be her mentor. Her boundless enthusiasm is matched only by his initial reluctance, as it takes time away from his hammock and Pina Coladas. But it just may be the beginning of a beautiful (if exasperating) friendship."

The book is available at Amazon - https://amzn.to/3kWKnZJ
