The Giggling Pig Art Studio Launches Art and Education App

BETHEL, Conn. - Aug. 17, 2021 - PRLog -- The Giggling Pig art and educational studio based in Bethel and Shelton CT, announces the launch of its very own app for Android, designed to give children accessibility to art, education, and social lessons in the comfort of their own homes.

The Giggling Pig, founded in 2006 by author and childhood education and development expert Hannah Perry, is intended to embody the creative drive, voice, and aspirations of children, and does so by using the characteristics of each unique Character of The Giggling Pig and the Honeysuckle Farm. Hannah determined that the return of in-person activities at The Giggling Pig with classes at capacity positioned a need for an interactive app that would allow more children accessibility to art and education. The Giggling Pig app currently has four different sections, a new art page, color pages, a stored gallery, and uploadable blank canvas.

The new art page allows children to select different colors, backgrounds, characters, and even brush strokes to help make their artwork come to life, and use their creativity to be completely limitless on any mobile device. The Coloring Pages are neatly equipped into three different sections, that include the children's favorite characters of the Giggling Pig, in direct comparison to the physical art boxes sold in the physical studio. The Giggling Pig books are also live, which allows children to read along and color through the pages while learning the valuable lessons of the Honeysuckle Farm.

As the app is still in its beta phase, it will continue to be built out over the next six months with added content so that The Giggling Pig Art studio can become completely virtual for those who may not have access to come in for day camps and lessons. Additionally, the app will contain personalized lessons from the educational instructors, read along, updated art lessons, and more stories to come from the characters of The Honeysuckle Farm.
