Omnia Strategy To Take Dr. Mahtani's Case To London High Court

LUSAKA, Zambia - Aug. 9, 2021 - PRLog -- Dr. Rajan Lekhraj Mahtani sues Bob Diamond-famed Atlas Mara over non-payment of money. Atlas Mara is a banking & financial group established by Bob Diamond, former boss of Barclays in Zambia. The company is now facing multi-million pound worth of damages over claims associated with disputed purchase and sales of a Zambia-based bank.

Dr. Rajan Mahtani sold his bank, Finance Bank Zambia, to Bob Diamond's Atlas Mara via an official sales & purchase agreement. This agreement and sales took place in the year 2015 and was part of Bob Diamond's plan to expand the operations and market portfolio of Atlas Mara across Africa. However, it has been more than five years and Atlas Mara has not completed the terms of the agreement by withholding the payment against FBZ share sales. As such, Dr. Rajan Mahtani approached international firm Omnia Strategy famed for its owner Cherie Blair. Omnia Strategy is currently preparing the case for Dr. Rajan Mahtani to be brought to the London High Court.

Even though representatives from Atlas Mara have discarded this claim by calling it without merit, it has been found that there are many other investors who are also suing Atlas Mara for damages to the tune of 100 million pounds. The case by Omnia Strategy is set to be established at the London High Court.
