By: H2O Global News Water quality is something that is easily taken for granted, but fresh clean water is a precious resource that must be safeguarded. To raise awareness about how to conserve our natural water sources for generations to come, National Water Quality Month was founded in 2005 by the US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), and backed by the United Nations. Water Quality Month was started in the USA but is applicable across the world: water quality is vital to our health and that of the ecosystems on which we all depend. This month gives us an opportunity to appreciate our water supplies and think about what we can do as individuals, businesses and broader society, to improve the health of our water sources. There are many things that effect water quality, from the pesticides we use to grow crops to the soaps we wash with. Everyone can do their bit. Those that work in the water industry are at the centre of the fight to preserve our water sources. There are so many great companies out there working to conserve and improve water quality - not just for today, but for future generations. Here at H2O Global News, this Water Quality Month we want to showcase all the incredible work that is being done to make our waters safer. We are offering the opportunity for companies to share their insights about water quality, why it is so important and what can be done going forward. All you have to do is fill out our online form, answer a few questions and you stand a chance to be published in a feature article on the H2O Global News website. Water Quality Month gives us all an opportunity to appreciate our water resources and what we can do to protect them, so why not spread the word about the amazing work you are doing?
