We are Impolite Design, a tiny team with a lot of heart, a shameless vocabulary and some big ambitions. We may be a new company and small (right now) but we're definitely mighty. Founded during lockdown and encouraged by some amazing customers, we design, pour and pack every single one of our natural soy wax affirmation candles and bloody love every minute of it.

We strive to stay classy; we insist on being honest and we can't wait to share our sweary positivity with you.

We swear, but we're classy about it. You'll have probably noticed that some of our products have swear words on them. You also might be wondering why we only subtly mention it here and there rather than shouting about it as some sort of unique selling point for our candles.

Why do we like cursing? We feel there are 3 basic purposes to swear words:

1. To express contempt
2. Express wonder or amazement
3. To emphasise and give strength or approval to a message.
