PRLog -- On completing two years of operation this year, Russian Food House in Dubai has figures representing its importance for the development of Russian-GCC food trade. During this period, the pavilion, created at the initiative of the Russian Export Center, presented the products of more than 50 major Russian food manufacturers, such as MAKFA, Miratorg, UNICONF and KOMOS GROUP. With the support of Russian Food House, most of these companies are already successfully supplying their products to the Gulf countries.
Alexei Busev, Chairman of the Russia – UAE Committee at Moscow Chamber of Commerce & Industry and Manager of the Russian Food House, described Dubai as a prominent food trade hub, and explained that the Russian Food House in Dubai, representing 50 Russian companies, is capitalising on new trade opportunities. "UAE companies should leverage resources provided by the Russian Food House and Moscow CCI to expand their business relations in Russia," he added.
To date, Russian Food House cooperates with large distribution companies, network retailers and representatives of the HoReCa segment from the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Bahrain, Oman, Qatar, Nigeria, South Africa, Tanzania, Ethiopia, Somali, Djibouti, Ghana, Kenya and others. Pavilion employees conduct daily presentations and tastings of products for foreign guests, as well as negotiate purchases.
