Venture Forward Partners Names Kim Barry New Senior Director of Operations

Barry, a 15-year veteran in life sciences research, lab management, and operations will oversee the operations and management of lab design, construction management, and relocations for Venture Forward's early-stage biotech and life sciences clients.

Barry's career in life sciences spans research, management, and operations, including substantial bench experience before she shifted to operations. She has a diverse background in R&D, GMP, and CROs, and has been responsible for analytical development, quality control and project management. She also has extensive familiarity with specialized equipment, procurement processes, successful audit reviews, and data analysis; has authored numerous Standard Operating Procedures and protocols; and implemented software for asset management and work order programs. As well as managing day-to-day operations of approximately 85,000 square feet of office/lab/GMP manufacturing facilities, she led the search for two separate sites, negotiating and signing both leases, just a month apart. Managing the design and construction of both facilities, she completed these projects within months of each other.
