Westmount Realty Capital Names New President

DALLAS - June 21, 2021 - PRLog -- Cliff Booth, Westmount Realty Capital's founder, president and CEO, announced he is assuming a new role as chairman with the firm he founded more than 30 years ago. Brant Brown, Westmount's long-time chief financial officer and chief operating officer, will now serve as Westmount's president. With an enhanced focus on company growth, Booth and Brown will continue to capitalize on the significant opportunities the firm has identified in the marketplace while building on its exceptional track record of securing and closing lucrative off-market opportunities.

In 2018, Brown was among a distinguished group of finalists for D Magazine's Financial Executive Award, and he was a CFO of the Year finalist by the Dallas Business Journal in 2019.

Originally from Montreal, Canada, Booth moved to Dallas in 1979, where he founded Westmount shortly thereafter. With 40 years of industry experience in commercial real estate investment and development, Booth was one of the first to assemble a significant portfolio of flex industrial properties in the U.S., and he was also a pioneer investor in downtown Dallas in the 1990s.
