By: The Orange Effect Foundation
CLEVELAND - June 21, 2021 - PRLog -- Fully aware that early intervention has the potential to create opportunity and launch futures that are otherwise unattainable, the board of The Orange Effect Foundation has awarded more than $30,000 in grants to needy children across the United States. Funding communication apps, speech devices, and weekly speech therapy for children up to age 21, The Orange Effect Foundation has changed the trajectory of grant recipients' lives.

Celebrating the recent success of their 100 Holes of Golf Marathon in May, and looking forward to the15th Annual OEF Golf for Autism event in August, The Orange Effect Foundation is dedicated to empowering lives through speech. As Orange Effect Fundraising Chair Mike Balzano explains, "children who get speech therapy help when they are kids have better confidence, grow, and have a better chance of having a great adult life."

The Orange Effect Foundation does not discriminate on the basis of race, gender, religion, nationality, disability, or sexual orientation. Although grants are awarded based on financial need, the foundation does consider extenuating circumstances. In all cases, The Orange Effect Foundation prefers to be the funder of last resort, relying on corporate, community, and individual support to raise funds.

The next grant application deadline is August 1, 2021. For more information and to obtain a copy of the grant application visit

About the Orange Effect Foundation

Although the foundation was officially formed in 2014, it actually began back in 2001, when the founders' son was born with autism. Early intervention helped him to become a heartwarming and independent young man. The Pulizzi family wanted to give back by empowering other children with tools they need to communicate effectively.

The OEF Golf for Autism is The Orange Effect Foundation's largest fundraiser. Proceeds from the event have raised more than $500,000, directly delivering services to over 267 children in 34 states. The Orange Effect Foundation's 15th Annual Golf for Autism is August 2, 2021, at Elyria Country Club.
