Capital Markets Group Completes Sale of Brookfield Commons for $32.5MM

RICHMOND, Va. - June 14, 2021 - PRLog -- Cushman & Wakefield | Thalhimer's Capital Markets Group has represented the seller, an entity managed by Stanley Shield Partnership in the sale of Brookfield Commons, located at 6600 West Broad Street in Henrico County, Virginia.
Brookfield Commons is a newly renovated, 90,598-square foot Class A medical office property located directly off Interstate 64, along West Broad Street in Midtown Richmond. Built in 1977, and formerly known as the headquarters for the Virginia Department of Transportation, Brookfield Commons underwent a full-scale renovation in 2019 transforming the property into a state-of-the-art medical office building. Brookfield Commons is currently 100% leased to four tenants including Central Virginia's only ENT surgery center, Richmond's largest pulmonary practice, a full-service imaging center and one of the region's largest women's healthcare practices.
Montecito Medical, out of Nashville, TN, acquired the asset on June 11, 2021, for $32.5MM ($359/SF). The sale was completed by Eric Robison and Catharine Spangler of Cushman & Wakefield | Thalhimer's Capital Markets Group along with Birck Turnbull also in Thalhimer's Richmond Office.
