Britain in the Starting Blocks for Overseas Holiday Rush

By: Bamboo Travel
BASINGSTOKE, U.K. - June 11, 2021 - PRLog -- A survey of over 28,000 people by AITO – The Specialist Travel Association, has revealed that 82% of people consider travel to be an essential part of their life, and 94% saying that they intend to travel the same amount or more after Covid 19 has passed.

This is no great surprise, with the Office for Budget Responsibility recently estimating that by the middle of 2021, Britons will have an extra £180bn in their bank accounts.

Honeymoons are also expected to help to kick start overseas travel, with the number of weddings in 2022 likely to be in record numbers, following the thousands that were cancelled during the pandemic.

To meet the anticipated demand, Asia specialist Bamboo Travel has created a new range of trips for those looking for a luxurious break, that include the region's most sumptuous and exclusive hotels.

The pace of the new tours is generally slower than usual, with the emphasis being more on experiencing the highest possible level of luxury that Asia is renowned for, and service in top notch accommodation and not much moving around.

Here are just some examples of the new tours…

Blissful Bawah Reserve ( 11 days from £5795 per person:  This short luxury escape takes you on a journey to an exclusive resort in the Bawah Reserve, a protected marine park with six tiny paradise islands in the Anambas Archipelago, located between Singapore and Borneo. It commences with a city break at a luxury hotel in the heart of Singapore, then heads off on an exclusive amphibious aircraft to the remote Bawah Reserve, to enjoy a five-night Robinson Crusoe experience but with all the creature comforts of a luxurious beach resort.

Luxury Seychelles ( 14 days from £6995 pp:  The Seychelles has always been a luxurious destination in terms of its natural beauty, and these days there are luxury hotels that complement the idyllic islands.  The holiday features two of the best hotels the islands have to offer: The Four Seasons on Mahe – which provides first class accommodation on a first-class beach, and Denis Island – where you can experience the delights of a private island resort. The inter-island flights are undertaken by light aircraft (helicopter rides available at a supplement).
