Identity continues the environmental and sustainability series for the month of March and celebrates Women's History Month. Hosts Tarik and Caleb welcome Casandra Carmelina, the founder of Garbage Gang to the show to discuss her identity and journey, the start-up of Garbage Gang, and more.

Garbage Gang is a community-led organization with a mission to inspire humans to care for the planet and become less wasteful.

Casandra Carmelina is the founder of @garbagegangca. Casandra is an earth activist, the Canadian chapter lead of Tuesdays For Trash,  a yogi, medical aesthetician, a committee member of Calgary PRIDE, and the director of the Cityview Community Garden.

The community organizes national clean-ups across Canada and the US.
