AKCP Upgrades sensorProbe2+ with Power over Ethernet for Data Center Temperature Monitoring

LOS ANGELES - Feb. 16, 2021 - PRLog -- Due to popular demand, the SP2+ device has received an upgrade. The SP2+ is a 4 port sensor monitoring device. Compatible with all of AKCP's intelligent sensors it is a compact but feature-rich unit. The web UI includes drill-down mapping and an HTML5 user interface. Communications is over Ethernet, or via embedded 4G cellular modem. Ping and SNMP GET virtual sensors monitor third-party devices.

Extensively used in small computer rooms to monitoring temperature and humidity

The SP2+ can be powered by PoE only or function as dual input with 5VDC and PoE. If the main DC power fails, the unit will failover to the PoE. It is the ideal monitoring device for a wide range of applications from server cabinets to industrial applications.
