Start Up Movement Seeks to Heal the World from the Inside Out

OREM, Utah - Feb. 5, 2021 - PRLog -- Throughout history, individuals have been ignited with passion to pursue justice initiatives, world peace, equality, environmental responsibility, animal rights, and a variety of other worthy causes. With so many individuals attempting to make a difference, why do we not see the world transformed from the outside in? As co-founder Natalia Yates stated, "Focusing on the outer world only is like looking in the mirror and expecting your reflection to smile first. When you smile at the mirror, your outer world will reflect that."

Our world is unbalanced and hyper focused on "doing" rather than "being." We recognize that things are not as we would like, and so we spring to action attempting to put out fires in whatever way we can without understanding what is happening in our hearts. These attempts at lasting change are important, yet we are human beings, not human doings. Collective change can only take place when the pendulum is balanced between doing and being.

The Inner World Movement acknowledges that the world around us is connected to our inner space. By cultivating awareness of the connection between our inner and outer worlds, we are able to use our other brain, also known as the heart (http://heartmath.com). Our reality is created not only with our brains, but with our hearts. Our emotions are the fuel to our desires. When we listen to the messages of our hearts, we can better understand our creations.

The leap from awareness to action can be overwhelming. The Inner World Movement exists to provide emotional education tools that will help individuals start to heal their inner world. Leaning into discomfort and taking radical accountability will result in outer world change. As the movement catches fire globally and more individuals are committed to healing from within, we will begin to see external change reflected.

Rediscovering who we are individually and collectively can be difficult and lonely. We are a community who desires to welcome people in with open arms, providing tools for inner change. As co-founder Dana Parker stated, "I intimately know what it's like to follow your heart and walk to journey into the unknown alone. You're doing so good at this human thing. It's so messy and it's wonderful. Every person deserves to hear that in this life."
