Freaks With Lines® Debuts Live Classical Ballet Performance Series, Trilogy of Relations, via Ballet Project TV

LOS ANGELES - Jan. 29, 2021 - PRLog -- Freaks with Lines, a Los Angeles-based dance company dedicated to nurturing classical ballet, has produced an original series of love stories, Trilogy of Relations, debuting February 14 on Ballet Project TV.

Presented through the lens of ballet, Trilogy of Relations is an exposition on three different iterations of love. Freaks With Lines® dancers entice the audience into three pas de deux playing on themes of elation, manipulation and flirtation.

Susan Vishmid, founder, creative director, and choreographer of Freaks With Lines® said, "COVID-19 has robbed us of the emotional experience of live performance this past year. The performing arts community has been decimated. However, the quicker we pick up the pieces the sooner we begin rebuilding and pioneering a path for ballet in the digital era. Our work intends to fill a void with personal stories expressed through ballet."

Vishmid continued, "We filmed in the gritty, concrete-ensconced core of Downtown Los Angeles. Trilogy of Relations exemplifies Freaks With Lines' unique ability to produce raw and engaging performances anywhere, anytime. Freaks With Lines® (FWL) is a Los Angeles based dance company created by Susan Vishmid that serves as a platform to showcase both independent and collaborative works between professional dancers and other creatives in various disciplines. Dancers are FREAKS who live, eat and breathe to create LINES and ultimately scrutinize those creations.  Founder Susan Vishmid began her early training at the Westside School of Ballet and through scholarships continued her professional training at the Pacific Northwest Ballet School, San Francisco Ballet School and The Rock School.Ms. Vishmid's professional ballet career includes Pennsylvania Ballet, Santa Fe Opera, San Diego Opera, Chicago Festival Ballet, Napoles Ballet Theatre, California Contemporary Ballet, City of Angels Ballet, California Riverside Ballet, Key West Ballet and Coast City Ballet.
