Second Annual Boca Raton Eco Trail Trekker Event Featuring Expo and Virtual Challenges Planned for Weekend of January 23rd

BOCA RATON, Fla. - Jan. 12, 2021 - PRLog -- The Second Annual Boca Raton Eco Trail Trekker and Expo event will be held the weekend of January 23 with added safety precautions and virtual racing this year due to the coronavirus. The Sports, Health & Wellness Expo will take place outdoors in the courtyard of the Embassy Suites by Hilton on Saturday, January 23^rd and will feature local vendors, refreshments, MaxPAC, and yoga joint fitness classes.

Meanwhile, the "Virtual Challenges," in which participants are encouraged to run or walk and raise funds for their favorite charity, can take place anytime between January 23 and January 31. Participants have the option to walk or run in the 2k, 5k, 10k or 30k challenge on any day once they sign up. Entries are as a team of four or as an individual.

The Boca Raton Eco Trail Trekker Challenges are a community sports event, promoting health, wellness, leadership, team spirit, commitment to excellence and raising money for charities and good causes. Due to coronavirus, everybody at the Expo will have their temperatures taken before entertained. Masks and social distancing will be strictly enforced to ensure the safety of all guests, vendors and volunteers.

WHEN: The Expo is Saturday, January 23, 2021 10:00am – 5:00pm; The Virtual Challenges kick off January 23 and must be completed by January 31, 2021.

WHERE: Expo takes place outside at Embassy Suites by Hilton in Boca Raton, 661 NW 53^rd Street, Boca Raton, Florida. Virtual Challenges take place anywhere!
