The Summit Apartment Homes hosts turkey drive

UNION CITY, Ga. - Dec. 16, 2020 - PRLog -- There is no greater act of kindness than to help others when they need it the most. This holiday season, The Summit Apartment Homes in Union City, Georgia, showed appreciation for its residents with a turkey giveaway. "During a time when our community has suffered tremendously as a result of this pandemic, the team at The Summit Apartment Homes pulled together with the help of our vendors in hopes of making the Thanksgiving holiday a little more enjoyable for our residents," said April Holiday, Community Manager of Summit Apartment Homes.

Turkeys were donated by various vendors of Summit Apartment Homes. "As word spread about this initiative, local businesses also stepped up to donate turkeys," Holiday added. "We would also like to thank Sergeant McKeithan, Officer Turner and the entire  Union City Police Department for their contribution toward these efforts."

All turkeys were distributed to residents this week. "Our team is extremely humbled by the support we received from everyone involved," said Holiday. "We are just so grateful to be able give back to our community in a way that was able to keep everyone safe during the pandemic. Our residents were simply overjoyed."
