Local Pro Football Player Partners with Ronald McDonald Foundation

NORWALK, Conn. - Dec. 1, 2020 - PRLog -- Andy St. Fleur is a professional arena football player who lives in Norwalk Connecticut. St. Fleur recently received a contract from the Allen TigerCats, an arena football league out of Dallas, TX. After this opportunity, St. Fleur realized he wanted to give back to his hometown as much as possible before leaving for the Lone Star State. The Ronald McDonald Foundation was more than happy to give St. Fleur a volunteer spot for their annual Christmas event.

Even though St. Fleur is thrilled to move on and have his own professional football career, he will miss the place he has called home for so long. He was able to contribute to the annual Trees of Hope event, an event the Ronald McDonald House in Connecticut puts on every year. This event is virtual this year, but the organization needed help carrying the trees, gift baskets and other donations from trucks to the building. The annual Trees of Hope event is the largest fundraiser for the house in Connecticut. This fundraiser helps provide them with the necessities it takes to continue helping out as many families as possible.

The Ronald McDonald Foundation's goal is to keep families together while the children are getting the medical treatment they need. They accomplish this by providing housing for these families nationwide. In the Connecticut house alone, there are 18 rooms for families with private bathrooms, along with playrooms, kitchens, family rooms and so much more. In a world full of doubt and uncertainty, Andy St. Fleur wants to do everything he can to give back and make a difference. Connecticut has a special place in St. Fleur's heart, and he could not think of a better way to help out his community than by partnering with The Ronald McDonald Foundation.

"My experience with the Ronald McDonald foundation was beyond what I could have imagined," said St. Fleur. "Everyone there was so organized, professional and easy to work with. I left the event feeling grateful, fulfilled and more connected to my community."

St. Fleur has a plan to make an impact not only in his hometown but anywhere else his career may take him. His partnership with The Ronald McDonald Foundation ensures that he can continue his charitable initiatives in his hometown regularly and give back to the community that has given so much to him.
