WASHINGTON - Nov. 17, 2020 - PRLog -- Alexandra Allen recently signed a publishing deal to co-write the forthcoming book titled Success, published by CelebrityPress® LLC. In addition to Allen's expertise, the publication features content from world-renowned entrepreneur, professional speaker, and Best-Selling Author® Jack Canfield.

Alexandra Allen was selected to be in the book because of her commitment to professional success and willingness to share her vast knowledge. Her professional expertise makes her an asset to the publication and will surely benefit a wide range of readers.

Alexandra Allen is a student at the National Cathedral School in Washington D.C., who thrives on high expectations and good judgment. She has lived with her family in Guadalajara, Beijing (where she attended the British School), New York City (where she attended the Brearley School), and Washington D.C. (where she attended the Sidwell Friends School), and enjoys Latin classical studies and humanitarian documentary films.

She has drawn national recognition being awarded the Women Economic Forum's Young Leaders Award and an EXPY Award, having co-produced several documentaries, which have won six Emmy Awards and multiple TELLY awards.

Among the documentaries are:

K9's for Warriors – about Post Traumatic Stress Syndrome among U.S. military heroes and the service dogs that help them,
Folds of Honor – about college scholarships for children of deceased war heroes.
It's Happening Right Here – about the fight against sex trafficking that affects Latino children in the US.

At school, she enjoys advanced math and science, having won the academic Valedictorian award. She studies Latin language and history, tutors' students in Latin, and leads the Latin Certamen Club which investigates Classical culture. Independently, Alexandra conducts Classics research around how films portrays Ancient Rome and is a founder of the Washington D.C. Chapter of the Junior Classical League. As a member of the NCS Film Club, she started La Perspectiva, a newsletter for Latino Students, and serves as head of film news for NCS's school newspaper. Currently, she is working on programs that empower young Latinas in documentary film.

From childhood, she has traveled to over 12 at-risk Latin American countries on Vision Trips, helping to raise funds for orphanages and children feeding centers where vulnerable girls are protected, taught values and work skills, and educated to improve their futures. She has witnessed firsthand by working overseas with girls, that their future is one they can be empowered to improve. Alexandra believes that where she finds injustice and need, she has a responsibility to encourage and help.
