How To Make Eggless Orange Cake

KOLKATA, India - Nov. 15, 2020 - PRLog -- This is an eggless, moist cake, tastes like a Bengali sweet Kamala Bhog. Orange juice is being used in this recipe, the juice provides the essential  moister and a fresh flavor to the cake as well as orange juice is heart friendly and immunity booster. The cake has a lovely appearance perfectly suitable for guest table.


·         Homemade cottage cheese - 1 cup ( totally drain out the excess water)
·         Powder sugar - half cup
·         All purpose flour - 1 cup
·         Cooking oil - half cup
·         Orange juice - 1 cup
·         Orange essence - few drops
·         orange food color(optional) - few drops
·         Baking powder - 1 pinch


·         Whipped cream/ heavy cream(smoothly whipped by a blander) - 1 cup
·         Sugar syrup - 1cup ( ratio - 2 cups sugar, 1 cup water, heat water and add sugar to dissolve in water, boil until little sticky)
·         Saffron (optional) - very few
·         Dry rose Petals and slice almonds for garnishing
·         Butter paper- 1 sheet


1.       Mix cottage cheese with sugar, mix by hand, knead like a dough
2.       Add flour, cooking oil, mix well, consecutively add orange essence, food color
3.       lastly add orange juice, combine carefully so that no lump forms, it will be a fine smooth texture, if you fill more Liquid to necessitate you can add more orange juice
4.       Put a butter paper on a cake tin, discharge out the mixture into the tin
5.       Microwave for 4 to 5 minutes or as per necessary to bake a cake
6.       Let the cake cool down, slice into two halves from middle, penetrated by a fork
7.       Spread whipped cream on the crest of the last one
8.       Pour hot sugar syrup, you can add saffron into the syrup
9.       Garnishing is entirely your selection, I have used rose petals and slice almonds
